The ‘It’ Bunny and Petit Bateau

Last week I attended a press event for Petit Bateau, who were launching their latest collaboration with the ‘It’ bunny Fifi Lapin.

Fifi Lapin is basically the Olivia Palermo of the bunny world. She has her own fashion blog, where she shows us what she’s wearing each day and includes key pieces from the main designer brands and catwalk looks. The illustrations are so cute and are fast becoming iconic in their own right.

Petit Bateau has teamed up with Fifi Lapin to create a limited edition collection of three tops for women and girls. Fifi has selected three outfits from the current Petit Bateau range for the clever illustrations.

Girl long-sleeve top £18

Women’s t-shirt £30 and long sleeved top £35

This must-have collection is now available on-line and in selected stores. As you can see my two little ladies, were very happy with their t-shirts…

Linking up to Reasons to Dress

A Fashion Classic : The Parka

Okay, so Autumn is officially here and Winter is just around the corner. This can only mean one thing, it’s time to invest in a cold-busting coat. Like Giselle and Alexa Chung, I’m a big fan of the classic Parka. Let’s face it, it’s a classic for a reason.

With its easy, thrown-on style and simple injection of casual cool, a Parka will keep you cosy, dry and warm in the notoriously unpredictable British weather and will look good with almost any item in your wardrobe. From your favourite skinny jeans and midi dresses to maxi skirts, the list goes on and on. The only choice is whether you go for timeless black, classic olive, autumnal burgundy, or make a statement with a sunny yellow or ruby red.

A Parka is always my go to coat for the school run. With a detachable inner layer it’s light enough for the warmer days of Autumn, yet with the added layer it’s also perfect for the deepest days of winter. Here are my current favourites from the High Street…

Urban Outfitters £120

Fat Face £98

Hollister £110

Topshop £120

River Island £115

Pick of the week
My pick of the week has to be this olive Parka from Boden, which is currently marked down to £143.30

My Holiday Style

Have you ever noticed that your dress sense/ style seems to change while you’re away on holiday? I realised this as I was looking through our recent holiday pictures. I have what I call my ‘holiday dresses’ that I only seem to wear when I’m away. I’m not sure why this is, as I really like these dresses but for some reason don’t have the confidence to wear them in the UK, as they’re slightly more revealing or loose.

My holiday style mainly consists of a sun hat (again… which I never wear in the UK, even on the hottest days), a pair of dark sun glasses, flat sandals (a must for running after my girls) and a cool, loose slip dress…
