Welcome to My Captured Moment, a weekly linky where I share my favourite ‘Captured Moments’ and invite you to do the same.
This week ‘my captured moment’ is a series of shots I took a few days ago at Gatton Park. As you can see Lili was having a great time climbing in the woodlands - the light was magical and I love how the bright red of her hat really stands out.
For me these shots represent a moment in time, she’s four years old and loves being outdoors, exploring and finding adventure. We recently went to the cinema to watch ‘Into the Woods’ which is a musical retelling of a number of fairytale stories and these pictures really remind me of that film.
I also took this great shot of a very happy Poppy, which I know will always make me smile!
Share your Moments
Your ‘My Captured Moment’ can be a single picture or a series of shots, new (taken this week) or old, with or without words. The idea is to simply share a moment in time you’ve captured on your camera and make sure it doesn’t go unseen. This could include vintage shots of your own childhood and beyond or a simple picture you’ve recently taken and want to ‘show off’.

Se looks like a gorgeous Paddington Bear! Agree I love the light. #mycapturedmoment
Bless her, I bet her imagination was running wild being there in the woods. I used to love it when I was little. I would go into my own little make believe world in and out of the trees. We’ve been walking in the woods this week too, but my photos were a little disappointing :/ My girls really want to see that film ‘Into the Woods’, although my youngest is a little scared of witches! Lovely photos xx
Paddington bear!! What lovely photos, woods are magical aren’t they? I havent seen Into the Woods, some people have said it is disappointing but I like to judge for myself. Thanks for hosting xxx
If I’m honest Katy, the film wasn’t great but it did look beautiful!
Ah such lovely photos and the girls look adorable in their paddington coats, Joe is a real tree climber if we go to a park for a picnic you will always find him in a tree, it makes him so happy x

Gorgeous light and she really does look like a beautiful Paddington! I love that she wants to be outside. That’s where kids should be. I let Rose play outside in the rain today just because she wanted to go out and I thought Oh well, let her get a bit wet! I love this linky hun, gives me the perfect chance to link up some old pics of my teenagers as I explain in my post. xxx
Aw thank you so much that means a lot to me!! I totally agree, kids should be outdoors. Great to have you on board x
