My Captured Moment #7

Welcome to My Captured Moment, a weekly linky where I share my favourite ‘Captured Moments’ and invite you to do the same.

This week ‘my captured moment’ is a series of shots I took a few days ago at Gatton Park. As you can see Lili was having a great time climbing in the woodlands - the light was magical and I love how the bright red of her hat really stands out.

For me these shots represent a moment in time, she’s four years old and loves being outdoors, exploring and finding adventure. We recently went to the cinema to watch ‘Into the Woods’ which is a musical retelling of a number of fairytale stories and these pictures really remind me of that film.

I also took this great shot of a very happy Poppy, which I know will always make me smile!

Share your Moments

Your ‘My Captured Moment’ can be a single picture or a series of shots, new (taken this week) or old, with or without words. The idea is to simply share a moment in time you’ve captured on your camera and make sure it doesn’t go unseen. This could include vintage shots of your own childhood and beyond or a simple picture you’ve recently taken and want to ‘show off’.

  1. Bless her, I bet her imagination was running wild being there in the woods. I used to love it when I was little. I would go into my own little make believe world in and out of the trees. We’ve been walking in the woods this week too, but my photos were a little disappointing :/ My girls really want to see that film ‘Into the Woods’, although my youngest is a little scared of witches! Lovely photos xx

  2. Ah such lovely photos and the girls look adorable in their paddington coats, Joe is a real tree climber if we go to a park for a picnic you will always find him in a tree, it makes him so happy x

  3. Gorgeous light and she really does look like a beautiful Paddington! I love that she wants to be outside. That’s where kids should be. I let Rose play outside in the rain today just because she wanted to go out and I thought Oh well, let her get a bit wet! I love this linky hun, gives me the perfect chance to link up some old pics of my teenagers as I explain in my post. xxx

  4. Your daughters are always dressed so stylishly. I love their little coats and hat combo. It is too cute. Those photos of Lili climbing in the woods look really magical. And I can completely see why that photo of Poppy will always make you smile. Gorgeous. Thanks for hosting beautiful lady. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
