Welcome to My Captured Moment, a weekly linky where I share my favourite ‘Captured Moments’ and invite you to do the same.
This week ‘My Captured Moment’ shots come from a trip to Maze Grill in Chelsea. Yesterday, Poppy and I set off on the train into London for a lovely lunch at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, just off the King’s Road.
It’s not often we get the opportunity to have lunch at such a posh restaurant and I knew that the food would be simply amazing.
They had a really sweet kids menu, which included a colouring book and crayons. Having read out the options to her, Poppy opted for the swanky chicken nuggets and chips, followed by vanilla ice cream which she loved.
Unfortunately for me, most of the food that was bought out for us adults (which looked amazing), included sushi, sashimi, cured beef and rare steaks, which I was unable to eat in my current pregnant state but the mac and cheese, chips, mash potato and vegetarian sushi were all gorgeous. I’ll definitely be going back once this little baby makes her appearance, so that I can enjoy everything on the menu and maybe even taste one or two of their fabulous looking (and sounding) cocktails.
Poppy wore one of her favourite dresses from the newly renamed Bryony (previously Poppy England) and her new red sparkly shoes from Marks & Spencer.
Share your Moments
Your ‘My Captured Moment’ can be a single picture or a series of shots, new (taken this week) or old, with or without words. The idea is to simply share a moment in time you’ve captured on your camera and make sure it doesn’t go unseen. This could include vintage shots of your own childhood and beyond or a simple picture you’ve recently taken and want to ‘show off’.

Argh! The worst part of pregnancy for me was having to double check that I could eat everything. That food looks amazing x
Oh it looks like a lovely place! Poppy looks so grown up in these pictures and I love her dress. I hope you do get to go back and sample the cocktails when the babe is here - then you will really get the measure of the place ha! Thank you for hosting lovely

That’s a lovely meal you’ve got… It’s always a plus points when restaurants offer kids menu as well, although most restaurants do now. Your little girl looks so pretty with her dress and that sparkly shoes. #MyCapturedMoment
