There is so much I’m loving on TV and at the cinema at the moment. My list goes on and on. What have you been watching lately?
One of my favourite things on NOW TV (and SKY) recently has been The Loudest Voice staring Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, (the founder and chief of Fox News) and Sienna Miller playing his supporting wife. This mini-series has it all, power, greed, corruption, and some down right evil behaviour. Crowe delivers a fantastic performance, managing to capture the true nature of this menacing man, who ruled with an iron fist and managed to shape a nation to his advantage. This really is a must-see if you have access to NOW TV or SKY.
Speaking of capturing the essence of a character, I’ve also recently been to the cinema to see Judy, staring Renee Zellweger. This is definitely a career high for Zellweger, who was born to play this role. Everything about her performance is on the money. In some scenes you simply forget that she’s not really Judy Garland. Her voice is incredible, the clothes, hair and make-up are spot on and they way she carries herself is simply Judy. The film centres around the last few months of Judy’s life in London, where she did a five week stint at the famous Talk of the Town concert hall. It’s a sad look at the fallen icon, who was homeless and suffering from addictions – and haunted by her childhood in the movie studio system.
And now for something completely different. I was recently *gifted this gorgeous 18ct gold plated, Mother Of Pearl necklace from Daisy London, which I simply love and have been wearing every day since it arrived. It features a slice of smooth, iridescent stone, hung on a delicate twisted chain, which is perfect for layering up with other gold necklaces – or wearing alone for a simple statement. Daisy London have the most beautiful collections of modern, yet timelessly classic pieces. Believe me, I have my eye on more than a few other pieces.

Love it!
