Goodness me, it’ll be time to write my ten things post for March at this rate. How can it be the the 11th already? I was hoping to have this ‘Ten Things That Made Me Happy in February’ post up over a week ago! Now lets think, what did make me happy last month…
1. The Early Spring – That was a lovely surprise! Lets hope we’re not still referring to ‘that one warm week in February’ as our only few days of spring.
2. Daffodils on Valentine’s Day – my hubby knows me well.
3. A beautiful package from Pixi Beauty!! – which you can read all about, here.
4. A Star is Born – I finally got a chance to watch this beautiful film and I LOVED it!! Lady Gaga is simply out of this world.
5. The Oscars – Speaking of movies, I look forward to the glitz and glamour of the Oscars every year. I used stay up all night to watch the drama of the night unfold live on TV but these days I tend to watch the catch up show the following night.
6. A Blogging Meet Up – These girls have been there for me for the past five years, ever since we all ventured into this crazy world of blogging together. It was lovely to meet up with them all last month in Birmingham for a fun night of drinking, eating and catching-up.
7. Painting the Kitchen – We finally got the kitchen painted and hung up some pictures, so it’s now starting to look like home. Although, I do need lots more prints!
8. Dirt John on Netflix – Another addictive eight episode series on Netflix that had me hooked from the first scene. If you haven’t watched this yet, you’re in for a treat!! As Dirt John is a psychological thriller based on true events – there’s also an hour long documentary featuring the real victims available on Netflix.
9. Kitchen Discos – Dancing around the kitchen with my girls always makes me happy!
10. Call The Midwife on a Sunday evening – enough said.
I love this post, it has made me smile. I’ve been enjoying glimpses of spring, bunches of daffodils and plenty of painting around the house, and they really do lift your mood, don’t they? x
