I’d love to say that this crazy hot weather has curved my cravings for sweet treats but the truth is, it hasn’t. If anything being at home with the girls, who are constantly asking for yet another snack has made it even more difficult to resist a sneaky treat. Not great with our summer holiday just weeks away!

However, we’ve recently found that our favourite exceedingly good cakes are now available with few less calories and 30% less sugar.  So, if you (like me) still want to enjoy a sweet treat while trying to cut back on sugar, these new slices could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Mr Kipling have launched their famous Angel Slices and decedent Chocolate Slices with 30% less sugar – and yes they still taste just as indulgent as the originals. These new slices are also now only 100 calories per slice, which sounds pretty good to me.

Just as before these gorgeous little slices are individually packaged, to keep each slice fresh and moist – and also makes them perfect for an on-the-go snack.  

Best of all my very girly girls love a good afternoon tea and these pretty slices, along with some fingers sandwiches makes the perfect tea party! It also means I don’t have to bake every day. I don’t know about your kids but my girls expect a ‘pudding’ after every meal (I blame school dinners for this) so again these reduced calories and reduced sugar slices come to the rescue after meal times.
