Before flying off to Florida I wasn’t too sure what I should pack. Was it appropriate to wear a dress to the Disney parks or would everyone be wearing shorts for practical reasons? What shoes should I wear, I knew they needed to be flat and comfortable but did they need to be trainers? All these different questions kept going round in my head, so I ended up packing everything to make sure I had all eventualities covered.

Quite quickly (after arriving) I realised that anything goes at Disney and although I’m sure the hotter summer months scream-out for shorts and a vet, in the cooler spring months (although, still hot compered to the UK) a light, comfortable dress is ideal for wondering around the parks.

So this is me dressing for Florida after realising that anything goes. These are three of my favourite new dresses from the current NEXT spring/ summer collection, now available in-store and online.

First, is this beautiful loose-fitting, dropped waist, White Embroidered Dress (£40), with pockets. This was such a comfortable dress to wear and will be just as perfect to wear at home in the UK. The sunglasses are also from Next but last year, these are very similar though.

Secondly, is this simple black with white dots Off the Shoulder Midi Dress (£25), which I’m wearing in a size12, Petite. This dress also has pockets, which I just love. Why don’t more dresses have pockets?

And lastly, is this easy to wear yellow Embroidered Linen Blend Sun Dress which was absolutely perfect for this tropical backdrop. Again I’m wearing size 12 in the petite length. The glasses I’m wearing are old but these are similar and look gorgeous.
