Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been a fan of a good picnic. I’m not sure if it’s the type of food, eating outside or the sharing element that appeals to me more but either way, I just love it.
A picnic in our local park is always on my list of favourite family activities. I can’t think of a better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon, especially when the sun’s out and the kids are happy running around, entertaining themselves as we (adults) relax on a warm picnic blanket eating (and drinking) our way through the banquet of food laid out in front of us. And this is exactly what we did on Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day!
When it comes to the perfect picnic, I absolutely love the range at Marks & Spencer and this year they’ve created some exciting new picnic bits that takes your usual sausage roll to another level. As they say in their adverts, this is not just any picnic food, this is Marks and Spencer picnic food, which made our Father’s Day picnic extra special on Sunday.
I mean, listen to this little list of tempting new flavours and twists of old favourites…
